Location: This is a fully remote role, though occasional travel to London for workshops or meetings is required

Our client is an industry leader in content management solutions tailored to the publishing industry. Due to ongoing expansion, they’re looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to join their team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring exceptional design quality and a seamless user experience across the company’s product suite, as they continue to set high standards in publishing technology.


As the Product UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for enhancing the look and feel of the client’s products. You’ll work closely with the Head of Product and Product Lead to create designs that support the demanding, fast-paced environment of a newsroom while reinforcing brand identity.


This is a fully remote role, though occasional travel to London for workshops or meetings may be required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate design concepts and user flows clearly and effectively.
  • Conduct research to guide and inform product design decisions.
  • Ensure the accurate implementation of the design vision.
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback.
  • Maintain and update design systems and style guides.
  • Advocate for user-centric design principles and best practices within the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in Figma is essential; familiarity with other design tools is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of design principles and best practices.
  • Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail and consistency.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Bonus: Experience working with newspapers or digital publishing.
