Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer with a strong background in Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will be proficient in MS SQL, Visual Studio, C#, and VB.NET, and have extensive expertise in Microsoft products, especially Office 365 applications like Power Apps, Automate, Flow, and SharePoint. Moreover, provide training to new users on how to use the applications effectively. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for maintaining and updating application software, as well as developing new applications to meet the needs of our users.

Software Development

• Design, develop, and maintain web and desktop applications using .NET frameworks (C#, ASP.NET, and VB.NET).
• Create and manage database schemas, stored procedures, and queries using MS SQL Server.
• Build, integrate, and support solutions using Microsoft 365 tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Flow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and applications, working closely with IT personnel, stakeholders, and end-users.
• Act as the primary technical contact for assigned applications, providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support as needed.
• Address and resolve assigned user support tickets promptly and professionally; escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Deliver user training on new application features and ensure effective adoption across the organization.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all supported applications and systems.
• Coordinate with vendors on issue resolution, application upgrades, and enhancements.
• Liaise with business users to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
• Configure and customize applications to meet evolving business processes and operational needs.
• Plan and implement application updates, patches, and enhancements to ensure system reliability and security.
• Monitor application performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimizations.
• Support data migration activities and contribute to related IT application projects.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs in alignment with company standards and global best practices.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and classification policies.
• Provide after-hours support on a rotational basis as required.
• Perform any additional IT-related duties assigned by the line manager or IT management in support of departmental goals.
• Assisting in designing and developing new applications based on end-users’ needs and preferences.
• Designing and developing new Apps and automated workflows using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Flow, based on documented requirements and proposals from end-user discussions.
• Preparing proposals for new software development projects.
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
• Revise, update, refactor, and debug code of internally developed applications.
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Performing quality assurance testing on new applications.
• Test and deploy applications and systems.
• Recommending improvements to existing applications or assisting in designing new applications.
• Providing technical Tire 2 support and troubleshooting problems with existing applications.
• Creating reports on project status, including development timelines.
• Supporting the preparation and review of RFI and RFP documents, including following up on technical scopes, development progress, and vendor clarifications.

Cloud Computing

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or any equivalent cloud provider.
• Ability to deploy, configure, and manage .NET applications in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as App Services, Azure DevOps, EC2, Lambda, or container-based hosting (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in setting up CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of security, scalability, and performance considerations when hosting applications in the cloud.

Programming Skills

• Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer.
• Experience with multiple programming languages, including Java (Preferred).
• Proficiency in C# and VB.NET.
• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework and design/architectural patterns like MVC.
• Strong understanding of API development, with the ability to design, develop, and document RESTful APIs based on company standards and industry best practices.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software development principles.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft.NET technologies, including both desktop (Windows Forms/WPF) and web development (ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC/Core).
• Proven track record as a Full Stack .NET Developer, with involvement in the complete software development lifecycle — from design and development to deployment and maintenance.
