A federal government agency is seeking a Data Analyst to support evidence-based decision-making and provide data-driven insights that shape key government initiatives. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering $99k–$111k + super, ideal for a skilled analyst with Power BI expertise and NV1 security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and visualise data to identify trends and support government strategy.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and data products using Power BI, Excel, Python/R, and SQL.
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and integrity across all datasets.
• Present complex technical findings in a clear, actionable format to non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to influence policy and operational decisions.

About You:

• Experience in data analytics, wrangling, and visualisation.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Excel; Python/R and SQL desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate insights to a range of stakeholders.
• Must be an Australian Citizen with NV1 Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
