Senior Project Manager

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the successful delivery of drilling projects from planning to completion. The role ensures alignment with company goals, operational efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of drilling project execution, from planning to closeout.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with operations, HSE, logistics, and engineering teams.
• Ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to align expectations.
• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Oversee procurement and contract activities related to the project.
• Provide regular project updates to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure regulatory and company compliance in all drilling activities.
• Promote continuous improvement and apply lessons learned in future projects.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, or related field).
• Master’s Degree is a plus.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of experience.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory/project management role.
• GCC experience (2 years) is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong technical knowledge of drilling operations.
• Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera).
• Solid understanding of HSE, quality, and regulatory standards.
