Junior Mobile Developer

INCERT is a center of expertise providing services and solutions based on knowledge and experience acquired in cryptography, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), eTravel document, biometry and artificial intelligence.

Established since 2012, INCERT is a public agency owned by the State of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce. INCERT also represents and defends Luxembourg’s national interests at European and international organizations.

Within the scope of its current activities and its incoming ones, INCERT is now recruiting a Junior Mobile Developer as a permanent position.

Your Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will join the INCERT developer team and work on INCERT mobile solutions development. The area of expertise should cover web, mobile development with knowledge in design (UI / UX).

He/she will be responsible for translating code into user-friendly applications and collaborate with INCERT internal teams to develop functional mobile applications.

He/she will develop application programming interfaces (APIs) to support INCERT mobile functionality while keeping up to date with terminology, concepts and best practices for coding mobile apps.

You Will Have To

• Perform requirements analysis, specification and development of mobile applications;
• Identify and plan for new features upon new INCERT project requests;
• Develop application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality of INCERT projects;
• Suggest and implement new mobile applications and protocols;
• Remain up to date with the technologies, concepts and best practices for coding mobile applications;
• Work closely with INCERT stakeholders to constantly innovate application functionality and design;
• Complete and update INCERT documentation;
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions;
• Maintain and upgrade existing INCERT applications;
• Create API Rest / Soap;
• Demonstrate innovation for good practices implementation.
  
  

Required Skills

YOUR PROFILE

Technical skills and education

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role;
• A Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science or relevant field;
• Experience with Android and iOS development;
• Knowledge of a least one cross-platform framework (ionic, xamarin, react…);
• UI/UX experience;
  
  

Will Be Considered As An Asset

• Cryptographic knowledge;
• Java for Backend development / Spring framework;
• CI/CD for mobile deployment.

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Ability to understand complex topics and to simplify them for the audience;
• Be curious, rigorous, responsible and have a synthetic mind;
• Have good verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently;
• Act with a high sense of confidentiality and integrity; and
• Be fluent in French and English. Luxembourgish and German are considered as an asset.
