We’re partnering with one of Australia’s leading financial institutions, where Engineers are building a digital cloud platform to transform user experience.

They’re looking for a Lead Backend Engineer with a strong background in large-scale software systems. You’ll play a key role in the development, maintenance and support of increasingly complex and mission critical services, as well as having influence on design principles, technical solutions and overall technical strategy.

The Role & Responsibilities

• Developing large scale software
• Technical leadership
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and overseeing software development quality
• CI/CD pipeline experience

Your experience:

• Extensive backend and leadership experience
• Node, Typescript, React & AWS
• Deep expertise in serverless applications on AWS
• Working with key stakeholders and able to articulate well
• Effective communication, facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills.
