Now we need a React Developer who can code clean, ship fast, and help bring it all to life, from the UI up.

The Role

We're looking for a mid- to senior-level React Developer to join our product & engineering team onsite at our West London HQ. You’ll work on customer-facing portals, mobile-first field apps, and internal tooling that powers over 100+ tradespeople and 20,000+ jobs per month.

This is a hands-on, in-office role, collaborating closely with designers, backend engineers, and ops leads to ship usable, useful interfaces fast.

You’ll Be Doing Things Like:

• Building performant, maintainable React components with modern hooks and state patterns
• Connecting REST and GraphQL APIs with Redux Toolkit or React Query
• Helping refactor legacy code into cleaner, modular components
• Collaborating with Product and Design to make intuitive, mobile-first UIs
• Integrating auth, permissions, error handling, and real-time updates
• Optimising for speed, both load time and dev iteration
• Reviewing PRs, automating tests, and improving DX where you see fit

You Should Have:

• 3+ years of hands-on React experience (Next.js a bonus, but not required)
• Solid JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge and a clean coding style
• Comfort working across frontend infra: routing, state management, forms, validation, testing
• Familiarity with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and writing testable components
• An eye for usability and a bias toward shipping MVPs
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment
• Bonus points if you’ve worked with tools like Vite, Tailwind, Storybook, or component libraries

Must Be Cool With:

• Working 5 days a week from our London office, this is a boots-on-the-ground role
• Collaborating cross-functionally with non-dev stakeholders (Ops, Support, PMs)
• Iterating fast, fixing bugs without fuss, and celebrating small wins along the way
