A leading European contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), including high-potency compounds. The company partners with global pharmaceutical innovators and generics companies to deliver complex chemistry solutions and end-to-end project support.

Role Summary:

The Project Manager will oversee customer projects from initial handover through to delivery, ensuring technical, quality, and timeline expectations are met. The ideal candidate brings strong cross-functional coordination skills, a customer-centric mindset, and experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client projects
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation across R&D, production, QA, and regulatory functions
• Ensure project milestones are achieved according to contractual agreements
• Lead internal project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders
• Support technology transfer, scale-up, and validation activities
• Collaborate with Business Development and Commercial teams to maintain high client satisfaction
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in project management processes

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical, fine chemicals, or CDMO sector
• Strong knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical manufacturing standards
• Excellent communication skills in English (German a plus)
• Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams and international clients
