DevOps Engineer - 4-5 years experience - Knutsford - Hybrid - Does not Support Visas/Sponsorship
An exciting opportunity within one of the UK's most established banks, they are actively seeking a DevOps Engineer to join on one of their internal projects, this is a great opportunity to upskill develop within your career.
Essentials:
- Scripting & Programming (Bash, Python, Go, Java or similar) for automation scripts
- Some knowledge of Containerization & Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Experience with Teamcity, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Nexus, Nolio and similar tools
- Infrastructure Management: Proficiency with managing infrastructure - Linux and Windows systems, manage Load Balancer etc
- Version Control: Git workflows, branching strategies, and repository management
- Database knowledge: Knowledge of SQL and manage automation scripts to automate data related use-cases like data migration activity
Nice to have:
- Domain knowledge: Banking, Financial Services, Lending (Very nice to have – understanding the wholesale lending lifecycle)
- Monitoring & Observability: Experience in managing Tools like APPD, ELK stack, Grafana
- Security Practices: DevSecOps principles, vulnerability scanning, compliance automation, Certificate/vault/user role management.
- CI/CD Integration: Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Teamcity, GitLab CI, etc.)
