Analytics Engineer

Billo is the first-of-its-kind Creative Performance Engine: a platform where real creators and real ad performance data come together to produce authentic video ads that excel on paid social. We have a lot of hard and interesting challenges ahead of us such as incorporating Ad performance data and integrating AI solutions in services we offer – we want you to join us in addressing them.

As an Analytics Engineer you will report to the Analytics Manager and work together with R&D and Product Teams to build out a comprehensive data model that would be used by all departments to reduce time and increase quality of their business decisions.

As Analytics Engineer you will:

• Define and implement data models, schemas needed for business insights
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
• Use AI models to extract contextual information and enrich our existing data
• Prepare AI model training datasets
• Continuously innovate to make the state of data seamlessly accessible, high quality and well structured
• Ensure the data model is accessible for self-service analysis for other colleagues by documenting it
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support business operations and strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data needs
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, integrity, and security

What We Expect:

• Experience building data models
• Solid experience with SQL
• Experience with Apache Spark, DBT or similar technologies
• Familiarity with data analysis, visualisation, and product analytics tools
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of experience in data engineering or data analysis positions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Skills/programming knowledge (Python, JS, etc.) and AI integration experience would be nice to have

• Databases: AWS RDS (MySQL), AWS DynamoDB, Google BigQuery
• ETLs: Fivetran
• Transformation: DBT
• Analysis: Metabase, HEX.tech, Mixpanel, Google Sheets
