At Milrem Robotics, we’re developing next-generation autonomous systems that operate in real-world defence missions. Our Communication & Information Systems Engineering team ensures that data flows reliably between the vehicle and the operator, regardless of distance, interference, or challenging terrain.
We’re now looking for a Network Engineer to join this team and take ownership of the systems that keep our robots talking.
This is your chance to step into a role where:
✅ You’ll architect and configure mission-critical networks. From VLANs and routing protocols to firewalls and VPNs—you’ll design how data moves across our platforms and through tactical radio links.
✅ You’ll bring connectivity to life—literally. You’ll integrate radio systems, onboard computers, and operator stations so that vehicles like THeMIS stay responsive and mission-ready.
✅ You’ll solve problems others don’t see. You’ll tackle bandwidth, jitter, and packet loss—not in lab conditions, but in the field. Your job is to make things work when failure is not an option.
✅ You’ll work across disciplines. You’ll collaborate with our electronics, embedded software, HMI, and platform teams to ensure networking supports the system as a whole.
✅ You’ll define how networks support autonomy. As Milrem scales its product delivery, your decisions will help shape how we build reliable, scalable communication systems.
What makes you the right fit:
✅ You’ve worked as a Network Engineer or a System Administrator with deep network responsibilities.
✅ You know your way around IP networking: VLANs, TCP/UDP, OSPF, IPSEC, ARP, tunnelling protocols.
✅ You’re fluent in Linux environments—our platforms run on Linux derivatives.
✅ You’ve used Wireshark (or similar) to debug complex networking issues.
✅ You’ve worked with—or are keen to learn—tactical radio systems or mesh networks (e.g., Silvus, DTC, Wave Relay).
✅ You hold certifications like Cisco CCNA or MikroTik MTCNA/MTCSE.
✅ You may even script in Bash or Python to automate diagnostics and deployments.
✅ You’re curious, analytical, and think in systems, not just in devices or tickets.
Why Milrem?
Because here, your work keeps autonomous systems operational in the real world.
You’ll help build robust communications that support frontline missions and cutting-edge robotics. You’ll join a team that values autonomy, challenge, and collaboration—and you’ll get the tools and trust to make your mark.
You’ll also enjoy:
✔ A hybrid work setup (remote-friendly, but onsite ~1x/week)
✔ A mission-driven company with a strong voice in European robotics
✔ Supportive teammates and leadership
✔ Wellness benefits, flexible hours, and extra vacation days
