About The Role

Clearstory is looking for a Junior Fullstack Software Engineer who is eager to learn, contribute across the stack, and grow within a collaborative, product-focused engineering team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers and product leaders to shape a category-defining SaaS platform transforming the commercial construction industry.

As a junior engineer, you will:

  • Build features across the stack, from UI components to backend services
  • Receive mentorship and support in building technical expertise and industry knowledge
  • Gain experience with modern development workflows and SDLC in a SOC 2-compliant environment

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of professional software development experience
  • Familiarity with React and TypeScript
  • Exposure to backend development with Node.js, Typescript or Golang
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience working with Git and CI/CD tools
  • A strong desire to learn and grow in a startup environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Material UI, pub/sub messaging systems, or ETL pipelines
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative software development

Previous experience in a startup, FinTech, or ConTech environment.
