Minimum qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in Software Sales.
  • Experience in enterprise sales and general management in Cloud based technology.
  • Experience with C-level customer relationships and connectivity in relevant markets.
  • Experience with commercial deals and negotiations.
  • Experience growing and leading teams and businesses within an organization.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Swedish fluently in order to communicate in this customer-facing sales role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading in a hyperscale growth environment.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills, including experience with marketing or sales support in developing product, solution messaging, narratives and value propositions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of enterprise software/infrastructure marketplace and key players as well as technical factors driving competitive landscape.

About The Job

As the Country Manager of Google Cloud Sweden, you will be the advocate of Google Cloud and will drive how media, business, government and commercial customers in the region view Google Cloud. You will drive business growth and customer acquisition for Google Cloud. In addition, you will work cross-functionally to ensure alignment and an integrated Go-To-Market with other organizations, including Marketing and Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall Google Cloud strategy for Sweden. As a member of the Nordic leadership team, contribute strategically to the growth and direction of Google Cloud products and services in the region.
  • Deliver significant business and organizational growth for Google Cloud Sweden through the direct management of the Cloud Sales leadership team and the indirect management of the Cloud ecosystem in Sweden.
  • Attract and develop a team, foster a high-performance culture, and lead people effectively through change.
  • Grow large accounts and develop effective strategies for winning in a competitive environment. Manage a valuable external network of partners and customer executives.
  • Develop role, industry and geographically appropriate business playbooks, tools, guides with messaging and positioning for different Google Cloud audiences.
