UX/UI Designer

UX/UI Designer – Contract

Day Rate: £530 (Inside IR35)

Contract Length: 6 months

Location: Hybrid (occasional on-site as required)

Clearance: Active SC clearance and UK passport required

An opportunity is available for an experienced UX/UI Designer to join a multidisciplinary team working on a Salesforce-based SaaS platform for a high-profile public sector client. This role is ideally suited for a designer with strong UX/UI experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for user-centred design within secure, high-impact environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for a Salesforce-based platform
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma or Sketch
• Support user researchers during usability testing and incorporate findings into design iterations
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including developers, BAs, and researchers
• Present design concepts and user journey maps to internal and external stakeholders
• Advocate for best design practices and accessibility standards in line with GDS (preferred)

Required Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in UX and UI design for SaaS platforms, ideally Salesforce
• Strong storytelling and presentation skills for communicating complex design ideas
• Familiarity with user journey mapping, service blueprints, or end-to-end diagrams
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
• Experience designing for government digital services (GDS)
• Knowledge or exposure to AI-related design
• Tools such as Miro, Mural, and involvement in discovery and alpha phases
