Role Overview

As an Independent Director of the Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP), you will participate in board decisions from an independent and objective perspective, oversee corporate governance, compliance operations, and risk management, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of shareholders and stakeholders. This role requires candidates to possess a high level of independence, professional competence, and industry insight, and to strictly abide by international and regional regulatory norms in the virtual asset sector

Responsibilities

• Independently participate in board meetings and provide objective opinions on major decisions such as strategic planning, compliance policies, and risk management.
• Supervise the performance of management to ensure that the company's operations comply with anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF), and other regulatory requirements.
• Identify and avoid potential conflicts of interest, maintaining the fairness and transparency of corporate governance.
• Participate in the review of key matters such as financial reports and related-part transactions to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of information disclosure.
  
  

Requirements

• Possess an excellent professional reputation with no records of violations of laws, regulations, or dishonesty.
• Have relevant professional experience in financial regulation, corporate governance, risk management, or the virtual asset industry (e.g., familiarity with international regulatory frameworks such as FATF).
• Demonstrate strong independent judgment ability, being able to express opposing opinions
  
  

independently without being influenced by other directors or management.

• Have a good understanding of the business model of virtual asset services such as blockchain and cryptocurrencies, and be able to effectively identify industry-specific risks.
