Graphic Designer (F1V)

Flyer One Ventures — is a seed-stage venture capital firm which invests in European startups. We’ve already invested in 87 startups and deployed nearly $43M within six years.

We focus on software-first products that use the power of tech to boost productivity. We primarily invest at seed. Occasionally, we do pre-seed, focusing on second-time founders. Our average check is $500k, but we can go as low as $200k and as high as $2M with follow-ons. We are a fund of entrepreneurs who know how hard it is to build a company. Our team helps founders with growth, recruiting, PR, business development, and investment relations.

We’re looking for a strong Graphic Designer to take full ownership of the visual direction. This is not just an execution role - we want someone who thinks, suggests, and leads visually across all channels.

About You

• 3+ years of design experience in the tech domain or readiness to dive in quickly.
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Take full ownership and approach visual work proactively.
• Confident communicator and collaborator — clear in discussions and able to align with any team member.
• Deep understanding of how content performs on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and similar platforms.
• Skilled at interpreting written content and turning it into the right visual format.
• Strong sense of aesthetics: modern, clean, and scroll-stopping.
• Actively use AI tools (Midjourney, ChatGPT) to boost creativity and speed up design work.
• High attention to detail — precision and consistency are non-negotiable.
• Capable of managing others and scaling the design function when needed.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency or higher.
  
  

What Will You Do

• Design static visuals for social media, pitch decks, presentations, email newsletters, and more.
• Create polished, high-quality designs that reflect F1V’s tone and brand.
• Turn written content into strong visual assets — carousels, LinkedIn posts, presentations (no hand-holding).
• Stay on top of social media trends and visual best practices to keep designs fresh.
• Maintain visual consistency across all platforms.
• Do light video work — reels, short videos, basic animations.
