Jitera, inc. is a startup company from Japan that makes software to automate the development of mobile and web applications. Our product can be called a No-Code, Low-Code, and AI agent. It’s being powered by Generative AI, and by using our product, we can develop software much faster.
It’s under development with lots of challenges, but the number of applications developed with our product is increasing. In fact, there is a case where a mobile application was developed about 10 times faster than usual.
As the characteristics of our company, we are a team of professionals working remotely, and we have a track record of significant growth over the past years in terms of revenue, product development, and team members.
We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Product Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with product development team to create user-centered designs that elevate our Jitera's user experience. You will be responsible for designing intuitive interfaces and contributing to all stages of the design process, from ideation to final delivery.

We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Product Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with product development team to create user-centered designs that elevate our Jitera's user experience. You will be responsible for designing intuitive interfaces and contributing to all stages of the design process, from ideation to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering manager and product engineers to understand product requirements and translate them into user-friendly designs
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with user needs and business goals
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Iterate on designs based on feedback and data insights to continually improve the user experience
- Ensure consistency in design patterns, styles, and branding across the product
- Work closely with product engineers to ensure smooth implementation of designs
- Stay updated with design trends, best practices, and emerging tools
- Has a passion for creating and building
- More than 5 years of experience in designing products and growing them
- Proficiency in Figma & prototyping tools
- Experience in writing basic frontend code: HTML, CSS
- Solid experience in design fundamentals (color theory, typography, grid systems, layouts, icons, and interactivity)
- Up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies
- Business level English skills (speaking / listening/ writing/ reading)
- Ability to lead stakeholders and work independently.
- Communication skills to work cooperatively in a remote team.
- Ability to prepare a remote work environment where you can focus on your work with a stable network place.
- A product manager who works as mini CEO to lead the product to have success.
- A product owner who creates user stories and prioritizes them to lead the development team
- Comfortable in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, agile environment with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with modern JavaScript libraries: React.js / Vue.js
- Experience working in an early-stage startup
