WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
As Business Controller in the Finance Business Partnering division, you will be a key enabler for our Finance Business Partners, assisting them drive performance, value creation, and profitability. The role is involved in close collaboration with the rest of the finance organization and requires being a critical team member in performing deep-dive analyses to understand complex business issues. You will leverage your professional skills and controlling mindset when preparing management reports, budgets, forecasts, and other deliverables, and will drive the development of our finance processes, financial applications, and data.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
As Business Controller in the Finance Business Partnering division, you will be a key enabler for our Finance Business Partners, assisting them drive performance, value creation, and profitability. The role is involved in close collaboration with the rest of the finance organization and requires being a critical team member in performing deep-dive analyses to understand complex business issues. You will leverage your professional skills and controlling mindset when preparing management reports, budgets, forecasts, and other deliverables, and will drive the development of our finance processes, financial applications, and data.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Drive the management reporting processes, including forecasting & budgeting
- Oversee expenses and headcount from a financial perspective for the core commercial business
- Contribute to the calculation of bonuses and commissions
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders, including participating in meetings, engaging with stakeholders, making recommendations on forecast, and highlighting risks
- Represent finance to business stakeholders, present performance and assess its impact on the full year
- Provide commentary on financial performance
- Drive or contribute to finance, business initiatives and projects
- Identify areas for improvement in processes and implement solutions to address deficiencies
- Perform ad hoc analytical and controlling tasks
Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important. We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest:
- NO prior experience is required, but background as an FP&A analyst, Business Controller or in a similar finance role can be beneficial
- Experience in expense reporting, financial planning, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial business support is an advantage
- Ideal for motivated, skilled final-year finance students or recent graduates looking to start or begin their career in a growth-driven, oriented environment growth-oriented environment
- Solid foundation in financial accounting and degree in finance
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Power Query & finance modeling is beneficial
- Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to bridge finance and business
- A structured and analytical mindset with a professional discipline
- High motivation, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a changing global environment
- Experience in organizing data and utilizing financial applications to enhance reporting and analytics
- Audit background is beneficial
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Amenable to work in a hybrid setup (2-3 days per week) at our Warsaw office
