IT Project Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager with 5–6 years of experience to lead technology initiatives for government clients. The ideal candidate is organised, diplomatic, and capable of managing diverse stakeholders in high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects within government environments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and government stakeholders to define and track project goals
• Develop project plans, manage risks, and ensure alignment with compliance and security standards
• Maintain clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences
• Provide leadership across Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–6 years of IT project management experience
• Experience in mobile application development projects
• Exposure to facial recognition or biometric technologies
• Prior experience working on Australian government initiatives
• Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills, especially in structured environments
• Highly organised, with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict timelines
• Australian Citizenship is mandatory
• Eligible for or already holding a national security clearance
• Must be willing to travel to Canberra 2–3 times per year
