Job description: We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to design wireframes and build prototypes for both website and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should be based in Sydney and possess a solid background in e-commerce platforms. You will be responsible for the design and development of UI components including colour schemes, typography and overall interface design.

Key responsibilities:

1. Design wireframes for websites and mobile applications
2. Build functional prototypes for web and mobile platforms
3. Develop user-centric design elements, including colours, typography, and overall UI
4. Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of UI components
5. Ensure the designs are aligned with ecommerce best practices
6. Develop designs that enhance speed and performance of SEO

Required skills:

1. Expertise in UX/UI design with at least 5-7 years of experience
2. Proficiency in designing wireframes for both websites and mobile platforms
3. Strong understanding of design principles including colours and typography
4. Advanced skills in tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD or similar for wireframing and prototyping
5. Ability to conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and improve design
6. A strong portfolio showcasing relevant design projects with a focus on eCommerce and digital platforms
7. Experience with ecommerce platforms
8. SEO and Web Performance optimisation
9. You possess relevant design certifications, courses and degrees in UX/UI design, or in related fields from recognised institutions.

Desired skills

1. Experience with digital experience platforms such as Optimizely, Adobe, or Drupal
2. Knowledge of Human Centred Design
