Location: Toronto, ON M5V 0S8 (Hybrid 3 days onsite)

Summary:

The Engineer will be working on incident management tooling e.g. Alert 2 Incident which is a platform capability, leveraged by all services and is responsible for reducing Time To Detect and Repair. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for adding instrumentation to monitor the service and write integration and e2e tests to ensure the capability is resilient and highly available

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Golang development +AWS experience.
• Strong understanding of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms.
• Experience with web frameworks for Golang such as Echo, Gin, or Revel.
• Solid experience in using and developing RESTful APIs.
• Profound knowledge of common Goroutine and channel patterns.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Excellent problem solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
