We are seeking for our client a dynamic Senior Project Manager to make a meaningful impact.

Role Overview

As a Senior Project Manager within the PMO team, you will lead projects end-to-end, ensuring they are completed within scope, on time, and within budget. This includes managing the project team, collaborating actively with the sponsor, steering committee, and stakeholders within and beyond the project organization. You will take initiative, set the pace, manage proactively, and engage the right people to drive progress. Implementing project outcomes into the business will also be a core responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring effective information flow, teamwork, and communication.
• Engage with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Navigate complex relationships with strategically important stakeholders
• Work closely with executive management
• Maintain clear agreements on responsibilities and communication within the project team.
• Manage projects within a dynamic business environment that requires adaptability to volatility and uncertainty.
• Collaborate with external teams, subcontractors, and multiple parties.

Required Competencies

• Education: Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years as a project manager in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Skills:
• Proven experience in prioritizing and managing projects in complex environments with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and synthesis skills, with experience presenting to executive-level management.
• Effective stakeholder management
• Ability to align with internal experts on stakeholder relations.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, with a collaborative, constructive attitude.
• Proficiency in process optimization and digitalization tools.
• Hands-on, proactive approach.
• Ability to stay focused amidst multiple tasks and evolving priorities, managing uncertainties in a dynamic setting.
• Analytical mindset with strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Sensitivity to organizational dynamics.
• Flexible, proactive, and customer-focused.

• Languages: Fluency in Dutch, with good knowledge of English and French.

• Proven experience in leading and guiding projects: Expert level (10 years)
• Proven knowledge of PM methodology terminology, organization, roles, and processes
• Higher education (Master’s or Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent through experience
• Fluent in English with good knowledge of Dutch and/or French
• Proven experience in technical environments where projects are situated

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
