Senior Project Manager (EACS)
Amsterdam / Remote (2 days per week on-site)
5-month contract
Up to €80 per hour – Based on a 40-hour work week.
A global travel company is seeking a Senior Project Manager with deep expertise in Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS) to lead the delivery of global physical security initiatives. This role will play a key part in managing complex, multi-site security projects—particularly around Lenel OnGuard and Nedap AEOS—as well as mentoring new colleagues as they onboard into the technical security team.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery (Approx. 70%)
- Lead end-to-end delivery of physical security projects, including design, planning, execution, and closure.
- Drive EACS implementations and upgrades (Lenel OnGuard & Nedap AEOS) across international locations.
- Develop detailed project documentation including scope, timelines, budgets, risk mitigation, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful and timely delivery.
- Deliver regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadership across the organisation.
Colleague Development & Mentoring (Approx. 30%)
- Lead the onboarding and technical training of new Security Functional Administrators.
- Provide daily coaching and act as a subject matter expert for Lenel, AEOS, and broader physical security technologies.
- Develop internal training materials covering security systems, processes, and industry best practices.
Tech Focus
Hands-on experience across a range of physical security brands and technologies is highly valuable, including but not limited to:
- Access Control: Lenel, Nedap AEOS, HID, STID
- Surveillance & Monitoring: Milestone, Bosch, Axis
- Intrusion & Perimeter Detection: Honeywell, Gallagher
- Access Infrastructure: Boon Edam, ATS
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–10 years’ experience in project management, including 5+ years focused on physical security projects.
- Strong knowledge of Electronic Access Control Systems, specifically Lenel OnGuard and Nedap AEOS (including configuration, installation, and support).
- Background in delivering security projects across global enterprise environments.
- Proficient in project methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall (tools like Jira, MS Project, etc.).
Nice to Have
- Security Certifications: ASIS PSP, CPP
- Vendor certifications in Lenel, Nedap AEOS, or Milestone
- Experience integrating EACS with VMS/PSIM solutions
- Prior experience as a Field Engineer is a strong plus
- Fluent in Dutch and English (both verbal and written).
