We are a leading player in the cryptocurrency trading and blockchain technology space. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Compliance Officer to join our Crypto Business to help us maintain our reputation for integrity and compliance.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) compliance within the Crypto business. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in compliance and understanding of the regulatory landscape surrounding cryptocurrencies. This role requires a proactive individual who can navigate complex compliance challenges and ensure that the company's operations remain in full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. AML/CTF Compliance:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's AML/CTF policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential AML/CTF risks and implement appropriate mitigating measures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant AML/CTF laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  1. Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Monitor and analyze transactions for suspicious activity, including large or unusual transactions.
  • Prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all AML/CTF compliance activities and reports.
  1. Training and Awareness:
  • Develop and deliver AML/CTF training programs for employees to ensure awareness and understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest regulatory developments and industry best practices related to AML/CTF in the cryptocurrency space.
  1. Internal Audits and Reviews:
  • Conduct regular internal audits and reviews of the company's AML/CTF program to ensure its effectiveness and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address any compliance findings or recommendations.
  1. Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer and other senior management to develop and implement compliance strategies.
  • Liaise with regulators, law enforcement agencies, and other external stakeholders as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, law, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years Complience experience in crypto trading, with a strong understanding of blockchain technology and digital assets.
  • Proven experience in AML/CTF compliance within the financial services or cryptocurrency industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant AML/CTF laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of integrity and compliance.
