About the Client:

We are hiring on behalf of one of our most strategic clients—a global leader in intralogistics known for delivering high-end automation, robotics, and warehouse management systems across Europe and the Middle East. As a trusted partner, we are supporting their drive to build a robust internal engineering capability in Italy, with a key focus on their Dortmund tech hub.

Role Overview:

We’re seeking experienced Java Software Engineers with a passion for enterprise systems. You will join a collaborative team working on mission-critical software that powers intelligent logistics and supply chain automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java.
• Collaborate with local and global teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in system integrations, including on-site client support across the EU, Middle East, and Switzerland (travel expenses covered).
• Take ownership of components and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Support full software lifecycle: requirements, development, testing, deployment.

Technical Requirements

• 3–4+ years of hands-on Java experience (enterprise-level; version agnostic).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle DB and WebLogic.
• Experience working in scalable, complex environments.
• Fluent in English (must-have for internal and client communication).

Nice to Have

• Background in or exposure to the intralogistics domain (highly valued).
• Strong troubleshooting and integration support capabilities.

Work Environment

• Hybrid model: 2 days per week remote.
• Primary office location: Dortmund, Germany (relocation support can be discussed).
