Job Title: Product Owner / Manager - E-commerce

Location: Remote

6 Months of Contract to Hire

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner / Manager with deep expertise in the e-commerce domain to drive the development and enhancement of our digital commerce products. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business, technology, and customer experience, ensuring features deliver business value, customer satisfaction, and seamless user journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the product backlog for one or more e-commerce platforms/modules (e.g., storefront, checkout, order management, payments, personalization).
• Work closely with stakeholders (marketing, sales, customer support, logistics) to gather and define product requirements.
• Translate business needs into clearly defined user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize backlog items based on business value, ROI, technical feasibility, and user feedback.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product increments.
• Monitor and analyze product performance metrics (conversion, bounce rate, AOV, cart abandonment) and implement improvements.
• Conduct user research, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking to inform product decisions.
• Act as the voice of the customer and champion user-centric development.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups as part of an Agile/Scrum team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience (4+ years) as a Product Manager / Owner in an e-commerce environment.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Jio, Walmart, Shopify, Magento) and digital ecosystems.
• Solid grasp of product lifecycle management, Agile methodologies, and Scrum practices.
• Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar.
• Analytical mindset with a strong understanding of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
