Job Title: Java/Angular Developer – Google Cloud Platform Specialist (Dutch-speaking)

Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned Java/Angular Developer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) particularly Google App Engine and legacy migration projects, to join a high-impact team in Brussels.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with OpenShift, Google APIs, and UpScript (Google Apps Script macro language).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to the migration of legacy systems to Google App Engine
• Develop modern web applications using Java and Angular frameworks
• Leverage Google APIs and UpScript for automation and workflow enhancement
• Deploy applications using OpenShift and manage services within the GCP ecosystem
• Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate effectively in Dutch
• Ensure high standards for code quality, scalability, and performance

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–7 years of experience in full-stack development (Java & Angular)
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially App Engine
• Experience in legacy system migration to cloud platforms
• Working knowledge of OpenShift and container orchestration
• Familiarity with Google APIs and UpScript (Google Apps Script)
• Fluent in Dutch (mandatory)
