Python Developer

Our client is a major multinational with an established presence in Dublin, Ireland and a major technology focused development centre looking to hire a Python Developer on a daily rate contract. Strong possibilities for renewal with major projects ongoing for many years.

This is great opportunity to work on critical projects with a global impact as a key individual contributor supporting the team with your expertise as a contractor. It's a hybrid role with 3 days per week on-site and 2 days work from home with flexible start/finish times.

Key requirements:

• Minimum 5 years commercial experience exclusively related to Python software development - ideally in a large scale enterprise
• Commercial expertise in one of main enterprise level web frameworks - i.e. Django, FastApi, Flask
• Experience in database platforms - ideally one or more of the following (relational, graph NoSQL)
• Ability to work with / understand database engines preferably using ORMs (object relational mappers) like SQLAlchemy
• Experience with large data volumes and/or DevOps tools like Ansible, Jenkins, etc
• Good understanding of testing concepts and Agile practices

Nice-to-have but not essential:

• Experience with typescript and UI frameworks (Angular, React, etc.)
• Interest in financial trading/markets
• Data lineage experience
