Software Developer (Full Stack)

About the role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and versatile Full Stack Software Developer to join our team in Perth. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in PHP (Laravel, Zend, Symfony) and Ruby on Rails, along with hands-on experience in frontend frameworks such as ReactJS and AngularJS. This role involves leading end-to-end development projects, particularly within the staffing and recruitment domain. Key responsibilities include building solutions for payroll integration, candidate onboarding, assessment and screening tools, CRM and talent management systems, reporting and analytics, workflow automation, and third-party API integrations, as well as contributing to broader enterprise platform development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust web and mobile applications
• Work across backend (PHP/Ruby on Rails) and frontend (ReactJS, AngularJS) stacks
• Develop REST APIs and third-party integrations (e.g., Stripe, Google Maps, Salesforce)
• Lead and mentor development teams, participate in code reviews and technical planning
• Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver scalable solutions
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud infrastructure (Heroku, AWS)
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices are maintained
• Document development processes and prepare technical documentation when required

Required Skills and Experience

• 3–5 years’ of hands-on experience in full-stack web development
• Strong proficiency in PHP (Laravel, Zend, WordPress, Symfony)
• Solid experience with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL/MySQL databases
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS and AngularJS
• Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS (EC2, RDS, S3), Heroku
• Proven experience working with eCommerce platforms, logistics, or enterprise-grade applications
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in team environments

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field highly regarded
