Role: Java Developer (Senior-Level)
Location: Dallas, TX – Hybrid (Locals Only)
Duration: 12 Months

We're hiring a Senior Java Developer to lead and support the development of large, complex web applications. This is a hybrid role for Dallas-based professionals only. You'll collaborate across teams, influence architecture, and play a hands-on role in developing scalable, secure applications.

We're hiring a Senior Java Developer to lead and support the development of large, complex web applications. This is a hybrid role for Dallas-based professionals only. You'll collaborate across teams, influence architecture, and play a hands-on role in developing scalable, secure applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and design decisions for complex web applications.
- Provide technical direction to other developers.
- Design, build, test, and support scalable microservices and web apps.
- Translate business requirements into technical specs.
- Write and optimize SQL queries (preferably in SQL Server).
- Create and maintain REST APIs.
- Participate in production deployments and post-production support.
- 7+ years in web application development.
- 5+ years with Core Java (design, development, debugging).
- Experience with:
- Microservices, Docker, AWS
- Frontend: HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React
- REST APIs, Linux
- SQL (SQL Server preferred)
- Frameworks: Micronaut, Grails, Groovy, Spring, Hibernate
- Bonus: Android or iOS development experience.
- Strong grasp of OOP, design patterns, and secure coding practices.
- Enthusiasm for automated testing and CI/CD processes.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Comfortable collaborating with Marketing, Product, Support, and DevOps.
- Able to mentor peers and guide architectural decisions.
- Passionate about clean code, modern DevOps culture, and quality delivery.
