Architectural Project Manager
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with an architectural background to oversee the on-site execution of multiple construction projects, including but not limited to healthcare, commercial, residential and institutional developments. This key role requires strong leadership, hands-on site management capabilities, and deep architectural expertise to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be a licensed architect with solid experience managing construction sites and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring design integrity is maintained throughout project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the on-site execution of multiple construction projects, ensuring work is progressing according to approved plans, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and clients.
- Ensure all construction activities are aligned with the architectural vision and design intent.
- Monitor site progress and quality, conduct regular site inspections, and report on construction milestones and risks.
- Lead project coordination efforts between design and construction teams to resolve site issues and maintain continuity.
- Ensure all site works comply with relevant codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Manage day-to-day project activities, including scheduling, documentation, contractor coordination, and change control.
- Provide technical guidance and architectural oversight to project teams and subcontractors.
- Track and report on progress, budget adherence, and deliverables to senior management.
- Ensure effective communication among all stakeholders and address any site-related concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree preferred); must be a licensed or registered architect.
- Minimum 12–15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a project management role overseeing construction sites.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, particularly in healthcare, commercial, residential or institutional sectors.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, building codes, and technical design principles.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in project management tools, AutoCAD/Revit, and construction scheduling software.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to manage a wide range of stakeholders.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
- Willingness to be based on-site full-time, with flexibility to travel between project locations if required.
