Responsibilities

Retail Security Architecture

• Design and document a scalable security architecture tailored to retailer environments.
• Includes initial setup and annual reviews.

Security Hardening Guidelines

• Develop and maintain baseline configurations and hardening guides.
• Updated quarterly.

Vulnerability Management

• Implement scanning and patching processes for retail systems.
• Conduct monthly scans and deliver remediation reports.

Incident Response Playbooks

• Create and test incident response procedures for retail-specific threats.
• Review bi-annually, with quarterly simulation exercises.

Security Awareness & Training

• Deliver targeted training and awareness content for retail staff.
• Conduct bi-annual sessions, with ad hoc updates as needed.

Security Monitoring & Reporting

• Deploy monitoring tools and provide regular updates on security posture.
• Continuous monitoring with monthly reporting.

Profile

• Proven experience in security engineering, ideally within retail or distributed environments.
• Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, and incident response.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
