Freelance Java/Angular Developer – URGENT Mission – Ghent

We are urgently looking for a Freelance Java/Angular Developer to support one of our key partners, based in Ghent.

Project Context:

You will be joining a well-established development team within a dynamic IT department, supporting a range of internal business-critical applications. The role is split between maintaining and improving existing solutions, and actively contributing to the development of new features based on upcoming business needs.

Location: Ghent, Belgium

Start Date: ASAP (handover deadline: August 4)

Language Requirement: Dutch (mandatory)

Workload: Hybrid possible depending on the client

Level: Junior to mid-level (1–2+ years experience)

Language: Dutch Speaking

Responsibilities:

• 50% bug fixing on existing applications
• 50% enhancing and developing new features

Required Skills:

• Java, Angular, Spring Boot
• Kafka, Oracle
• ETL processes
• Experience with relational databases
• OpenShift (must-have)
