C++ Software Developer

Hybrid role in Toronto or Montreal. There are no set days to work from office, it will be occasional and infrequent

We are seeking a mid-level software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions. As an Application Developer, you will play a pivotal role in developing features, components, plugins, and applications aimed at the Media and Entertainment industry.

Mandatory Skills:

• C++
• Python
• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience

Key Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Application Developer or a similar role
• C++ programming experience on complex products, systems, and components
• Working experience on Windows OS, macOS, and Linux OS for cross-platform applications
• Solid expertise in Python or a similar scripting language
• Solid Git/GitHub expertise
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and across engineering teams
• Experience with Orchestration tools (e.g., Jenkins)
• Experience with artifact and package management systems (e.g., Artifactory, NuGet, Conan)
• Experience with secure coding and scanning tools (e.g., Black Duck, Gara Sign).
