The Role
The HRBP will provide professional, compliance coordinated support, both to the HR Director andwider business. They will be required to lead on all operational functions of HR activitiesincluding talent management, performance management, learning and development, compensation andbenefits, workforce tracking, compilation of board reports, payroll coordination, employeeengagement, well-being and various HR projects as and when required.
The HRBP provides HR partnership to department managers focusing on the work environment, employeerelations, employee retention and business processes by executing the business unit HR strategy.
Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with the management team to assess their needs and deliver tailored HR solutionsthat drive organisational success.
- Manage and mentor the HR Administrator, providing guidance, support, and development to ensureefficient HR operations.
- Oversee the onboarding, offboarding, and recruitment process, providing strategic support andguidance to hiring managers to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Partner with line managers to proactively guide, monitor and influence the management ofemployee performance, probations, absenteeism, and employee relations, fostering a high-performingand engaged workforce.
- Foster a positive work culture by addressing employee concerns, promoting open communication,and driving initiatives to enhance engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Lead compliance with company policies and procedures, developing, implementing and updating asneeded to reflect new practices, legislation and/or statutory requirements.
- Develop close and effective working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure HR policiesare implemented and integrated to meet operational needs.
- Own the compilation of weekly and monthly HR metrics and data, ensuring accuracy and providingvaluable insights to the HR Director.
- Actively lead on and participate in any relevant project work assigned to the HRdepartment.
- Lead companywide employee feedback surveys, analyse responses, and provide management withreports highlighting key insights and areas for improvement.
- Lead the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion agenda in partnership with the HR Director, chairingEDI Committee meetings and driving EDI engagement initiatives.
- Support the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting,feedback, and appraisals.
- Manage, review, and analyse payroll reports, including on-call, overtime, and expenses, ensuringaccuracy before coordinating the monthly submission with finance to the external payroll provider.
- Support the management of the compensation and benefits remit, including pensions, risk, andbenchmarking.
- Implement and maintain the highest professional standards for all human resource activities inaccordance with Company policy and best practice.
- 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2-3 years in a HRBP role, in a busy SME.
- Relevant bachelors degree in a HRM or Business Management related discipline. (Masters qualification preferred)
- CIPD Accredited desirable.
- Strong employee engagement, wellbeing and project management experience preferably having worked on delivery of key HR Projects.
- Proficiency in HR analytics and being able to understand data.
- Passionate about Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, with experience of the Irish Centre for Diversity framework.
- Strong employee relations experience, working on grievance /disciplinaries whether in an investigatory capacity or advisory capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of Irish employment law. Employment law qualification desirable.
- Excellent ability to work on own initiative and be confident in own decisions.
- Ability to produce accurate work of consistently high quality, within tight timescales.
- Ability to plan and structure own workload against a background of competing demands and high expectations.
- Hybrid working model - 2 days office based, 3 days remote.
