Senior Machine Learning Engineer

As they continue to scale next-generation AI capabilities, we are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to spearhead initiatives in Generative AI and Agentic AI, working alongside a highly skilled and experienced team of AI professionals.

What You'll Do:

• Work closely with a team of 4 ML Engineers focused on building and deploying cutting-edge GenAI and agentic systems.
• Work closely with our Head of Data Science to align technical strategy with business goals.
• Architect and deliver robust, scalable ML solutions in production environments.
• Develop and fine-tune LLMs, agentic frameworks, and intelligent systems tailored to complex financial workflows.
• Ensure best practices in MLOps, experimentation, and evaluation across the team.
• Collaborate across departments (Product, Engineering, Compliance) to drive impactful AI solutions.

Requirements:

• Fluency in German (C1 level or above) – essential for cross-functional collaboration.
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate.
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning, with recent focus on Generative AI, LLMs, or Agentic AI architectures.
• Strong coding skills in Python, experience with frameworks such as LangChain, Transformers, PyTorch, or Ray.
• Experience working on GenAI initiatives from PoC through to production.
