Project Manager - Global MSAT


Location: Leiden, Netherlands (Hybrid – 2–3 days on-site per week)

Start Date: ASAP


Our client, a leading player in the biopharmaceutical space, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support their Global MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology) team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to pioneering CAR-T and TCR-T therapies, supporting process development from early clinical phases through to commercial readiness.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the project lead for cell therapy change implementations from the central MSAT team, working closely with regional manufacturing teams.
  • Develop and maintain global project plans, ensuring cross-regional alignment and timely implementation of tech transfer initiatives.
  • Translate technical and operational changes into structured implementation packages for site execution.
  • Drive and support investigations into product/process issues, and define appropriate CAPAs.
  • Foster collaborative relationships across functions such as CMC, QA, RA, and manufacturing teams to ensure a smooth and compliant workflow.
  • Ensure effective knowledge sharing and alignment across global and regional teams, promoting best practice dissemination and issue resolution.


Your Profile

  • PhD in life sciences, biotechnology, engineering, or related discipline with 7+ years of experience, or MSc with equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in project management within the biotech or pharma industry, with direct experience in cell therapy and tech transfers.
  • Deep understanding of GMP environments and regulatory frameworks (FDA, EMA).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary and international teams.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and quality-focused, with strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Comfortable in dynamic settings with multiple priorities and tight timelines.
  • Fluent in English.
