Embedded Firmware Engineer (f/m/d)

I'm supporting an innovative tech company known for its long-standing success across global markets to strengthen their embedded systems division, they’re looking for a skilled developer to contribute to software design for real-time microcontroller applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop low-level firmware for 32-bit embedded systems using ANSI C.
• Design and implement software modules within real-time operating environments (RTOS).
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across hardware, testing, production, and systems engineering.
• Take part in defining system-level software architecture and own development of assigned components.
• Participate in structured code reviews and assist with integration and verification testing.
• Liaise with technology partners across international locations for project coordination and alignment.

Your Background:

• Degree in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, or equivalent field.
• Hands-on experience in embedded software development using C (and optionally C++).
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems and microcontroller platforms.
• Advantageous: experience working directly on board-level or MCU-based designs.
• Strong analytical skills, proactive mindset, and a structured approach to tasks.
• Confident in German and able to communicate effectively in English.
