AWS DevOps Engineer

London - 95% Remote - 6 months


We're looking for a DevOps Engineer with extensive experience of AWS services and SDK.

You'll be strengthening an already existing team of expert engineers working on advancing the critical transport pipeline of a Global organisation. You'll be working on deployment pipelines that automatically deploy infrastructure to AWS. You'll need to visit site 1/2 times per month, but mostly remote (can work onsite if you choose)


Key skills:

  • AWS Infrastructure Migration experience, CDK, IaC
  • Writing deployment pipelines that automatically deploy infrastructure to AWS
  • Implementing infrastructure-as-code best practices with CDK, and other AWS tools
  • Use internal GenAI tools to map existing infrastructure to CDK code
  • Data migration between AWS regions - S3, RDS, DynamoDB
  • Containerization technologies - Docker, ECS, Kubernetes
  • Java, Python, TypeScript
  • CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
  • Collaborate with development teams to establish consistent alarming, monitoring, and operational excellence

The ideal candidate will be experienced with Serverless Architecture, event Driven Architecture, Data processing technologies, and will have AWS certifications (SA or DevOps)
