Our client in the healthcare industry is seeking a Network Administrator to join their collaborative IT team, supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Administration of network, telecom, and VoIP systems to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient communication infrastructure
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise-level networking hardware and software
  • Support and troubleshoot network routing, switching, and firewall technologies in a Cisco-dominant environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across Layer 2 and Layer 3, including VLAN trunking, Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
  • Administer enterprise network services including DNS and DHCP within a Windows Server environment
  • Manage site-to-site and remote-access VPNs, network authentication, access controls, and other key security features
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for network architecture, telecommunication systems, and operational procedures
  • Contribute to disaster recovery strategy development and infrastructure improvements, including planning for network capacity and storage needs
  • Participate in department meetings, change management initiatives, and cross-functional projects


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of network administration experience in a Cisco environment
  • Working knowledge of IPSec VPN tunnels, NAT/PAT, and firewall rule sets
  • Skilled in switch configuration, routing protocols, VLANs, and QoS
  • Experience with Cisco technologies (Catalyst, Nexus, ASA, Meraki, AnyConnect, etc.)
  • Familiarity with wireless and network device authentication, as well as DNS and DHCP in Windows Server environments
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP or Juniper JNCP or JNCIA are preferred
  • Exposure to cloud networking concepts in Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with telecommunication systems and cloud-based VoIP solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong documentation skills, troubleshooting abilities, and a collaborative mindset
