Chief Technology Officer

Chief Technology Officer - Trading Platform - Dubai

A growing Fintech based in Dubai is seeking a new CTO to lead their technology strategy, guide and grow a team of high-performing technology engineers, and ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the firm's Trading Platform.

Responssibilities:

• Develop and execute a technology strategy focusing on developing scalable and secure financial solutions
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing technology team consisting of product developers, software engineers, data analysts, and cloud engineers
• Oversee the architecture and development of the trading platforms
• Ensure the trading platform meets regulatory requirements
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and integrate them into the platform to enhance functionality
• Manage the end-to-end development lifecycle, from conception to deployment
• Ensure continuous optimization and the development of new functionality
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives
• Collaborate with the CISO to ensure systems are secure and follow best practices, while being compliant with local and international regulations
• Ensure that systems are secure, resilient, and comply with local and international regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in senior technology leadership roles (ideally within the fintech space)
• Strong knowledge of and experience with cloud technologies (certifications are a plus)
• Prior experience working with Trading platforms (nice-to-have)
• Strong knowledge of Trading regulations
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong FX knowledge (nice-to-have)
• Experience with or strong knowledge of AI and Blockchain solutions (nice-to-have)
