Project Manager EPC

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to work on a project for a client in Switzerland. The client is beginning preparations for a large EPC project involving biomass gasification.

They require a Project Manager who can manage all stage of the project including engineering, commercial, contracts procurement, construction,

The project is projected to run for two years but the initial contract will be for 12 months.

The location can be at either office in Zug or Lausanne

Project Manager Specification:

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Zug or Lausanne

DURATION: Initial 12 month contract

Essential Skills:

10-15+ Years’ Project Manager experience in any process plant industry.

Engineering or Construction background, experience working on large CAPEX projects over 10m€.

Experience working through all engineering, legal, commercial, contracts, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

Ability to work with local authorities and major stakeholders to negotiate contracts, and use these contracts to select and negotiate with suppliers.

Ability to select, negotiate and manage subcontracts.

Ability to coordinate an organized project execution with multiple suppliers on site at any given time.

German speaking is highly preferred.
