About our client:

Join our client, a dynamic and innovative team at a large financial services company dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions for clients. They are working through updates to the client’s app and are seeking talented Mobile Engineers to contribute their skills to shape an exceptional user experience.

About the role:

They are looking for an Android Engineer for a 6 month contract based in Sydney. You will have strong Android development experience as well as experience in banking space working with banking apps.

You will be supporting our clients mobile banking team to ensure the successful outcome of their project. This role will sit within the digital team and work through updates to the client’s app.

To be successful in this you will have:

• Software architecture patterns and principles. (e.g. MVVM/CLEAN/SOLID)
• You are a champion of native mobile apps, providing amazing experiences, and leveraging native capabilities. (e.g. Responsive, performant, and accessible UIs)
• Android Studio, Gradle, Kotlin, Coroutines/Flow, Room
• Unit testing best practices
• Security principles, best practices, and APIs
