DevOps Engineer – Fintech (Antwerp)


Daily Rate: €800 - €850

Location: Antwerp, Belgium (Hybrid/On-site)

Contract: Freelance / 6+ months


About the Role

Join a fast-growing fintech company based in Antwerp as a DevOps Engineer. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines to enable secure, scalable, and efficient software delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous software integration and deployment.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and security teams to embed DevOps best practices.
  • Monitor system health and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Ensure compliance with fintech industry security standards and regulations.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in fintech or financial services.
  • Strong cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience with containerization: Docker & Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
  • Knowledge of fintech security and compliance best practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.


Nice to Have

  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
  • Familiarity with microservices and API management.
