Are you ready to shape the future of AI? Join one of Glasgow’s most exciting AI startups as we build cutting-edge machine learning solutions that are transforming industries. We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team and help us push the boundaries of what’s possible.

About Us

We’re a fast-growing, venture-backed AI startup based in the heart of Glasgow. Our mission is to develop intelligent systems that solve real-world problems in sectors like healthcare, finance, and logistics. With a collaborative culture and a focus on innovation, we’re building a team that’s as ambitious as our technology.

What You’ll Do

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying ML models that power our core products. You’ll work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to bring intelligent features to life.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing machine learning models for real-world applications
  • Preprocessing and analysing large datasets to extract meaningful insights
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into production systems
  • Monitoring and improving model performance over time
  • Staying up to date with the latest research and best practices in ML and AI

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who’s not just technically strong, but also curious, innovative, collaborative, and excited about building something new.

You should have:

  • 2+ years of experience in machine learning or data science roles
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices is a plus
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

What We Offer

  • Salary: £50,000–£60,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid working: 2 days per week in our Glasgow office, the rest remote
  • Equity options: Share in the success you help create
  • Flexible hours: We care about outcomes, not clock-ins
  • Learning budget: Annual allowance for courses, books, and conferences
  • Startup culture: Fast-paced, collaborative, and full of opportunities to grow
