Sigma Suisse is seeking for it's client, a company in the trading sector, a Machine Learning Engineer :

Job Description :

Build and deploy machine learning systems addressing complex energy sector challenges

Partner with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

Implement AI capabilities (including LLMs) within existing infrastructure

Lead code quality initiatives and experimental framework design

Mentor colleagues in data science methodologies

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or quantitative field

3+ years hands-on experience building production ML systems

Expert-level Python programming with software engineering best practices

Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face)

Cloud computing experience (AWS) and containerization knowledge

Excellent analytical and stakeholder communication abilities

Background

Financial markets or commodity trading exposure

Dashboard development using visualization frameworks

Forecasting and econometric modeling expertise

Scalable system architecture experience

Workflow orchestration platforms knowledge

DevOps and automated deployment practices
