Job Description
We are looking for a talented Java + Kotlin Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate has solid experience in developing scalable applications using Java and Kotlin, with a strong grasp of modern development practices, clean architecture, and testing strategies.
This role offers opportunities to work on both backend services and/or Android mobile apps, depending on your strengths and interests.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a talented Java + Kotlin Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate has solid experience in developing scalable applications using Java and Kotlin, with a strong grasp of modern development practices, clean architecture, and testing strategies.
This role offers opportunities to work on both backend services and/or Android mobile apps, depending on your strengths and interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Kotlin.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, and/or mobile features.
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) to deliver high-quality software.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production.
- Contribute to technical documentation and architecture decisions.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Java development (Java 8+).
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin (backend or Android).
- Experience with Spring Boot or Android SDK (depending on backend or mobile focus).
- Proficiency in working with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, Git, and version control systems.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
