We’re looking for a skilled Senior Backend Developer / DevOps Engineer to lead the backend development and infrastructure of our in-house ERP/WMS/MRP platform. This is a senior, hands-on role that blends deep Laravel expertise with cloud DevOps capabilities in a fast-paced, integrated environment across manufacturing, logistics, and eCommerce.

You’ll take technical ownership of a mission-critical system, working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver new features, maintain stability, and scale performance. This is an ideal opportunity for a developer with strong DevOps experience who enjoys mentoring, shaping platform architecture, and driving delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development and system architecture of our bespoke Laravel-based ERP/WMS/MRP platform.
• Build and deploy features such as MRP automation, multi-location inventory, barcode fulfilment, and third-party integrations.
• Manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Own and optimise CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), and containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design and maintain efficient MySQL schemas and implement queue-based workflows (Redis, RabbitMQ).
• Collaborate with the wider team on sprint planning, QA, and cross-functional roadmap alignment.
• Mentor junior developers and support high-quality, agile delivery.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software development, including 5+ years working with ERP/WMS/MRP systems.
• 3+ years in technical leadership roles.
• Expert-level Laravel and PHP experience.
• Strong DevOps skills in AWS, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git-based workflows.
• Advanced MySQL knowledge with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Experience building APIs, microservices, and messaging-based systems.
• Deep understanding of supply chain processes and barcode-driven workflows.
• Previous experience with secure, multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
