Java Backend Developer

Koçtaş is Kingfisher / B & Q partnership with Koç Holding, Europe's leading company in home improvement retailing. Koçtaş is rapidly growing with world-class retailing practices and looking for “Java Backend Developer" to work at the R&D - IT Team.

What Do We Expect From You?

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering , mathematics or related majors.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and deep experience with the Spring Boot framework
• Knowledge of RESTful API design, including API versioning, backwards compatibility, Micro Service arhitecture standarts.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with message queues like RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of secure coding and clean coding practices
• Knowledge about RDBMS
• Strong desire to learn and explore new technologies
• Experience and understanding of CI/CD principles
• Building optimized, reusable, high performant APIs
• Responsible from resource usages of application and manage application performance
• Applying best practices for backend architecture
• Analyzing and solving production problems

Why You?

• Experience in backend technologies (Java, MsSql, RESTful Web Services, APIs, OOP, Azure),
• Quickly understand business needs and the ability to build the necessary architecture,
• Experience in solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), software engineering fundamentals, and design patterns,
• Familiarity with writing clean, reusable, self-documenting, well-designed code,
• Experience with agile software development methodologies
