Senior Java Backend Developer – Gothenburg (Hybrid)

We’re working with a growing company that delivers impactful digital solutions across a variety of sectors in Sweden. They’re currently expanding their backend development team and are looking for experienced Java developers who enjoy working closely with clients on long-term projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Building and maintaining scalable backend systems using Java.
• Working on client-facing projects, often embedded in cross-functional teams.
• Designing APIs, integrating with databases, and contributing to overall system architecture.
• Staying current with modern development tools and best practices, and sharing knowledge within the team.

What They’re Looking For:

• Solid professional experience with Java in backend-focused roles.
• Good understanding of backend architecture, microservices, and cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with agile ways of working.
• Fluency in Swedish (professional proficiency required).
• Based in or near Gothenburg
